  1.      There are 3 types of Zoom famodems. Sendfax (send only),  Class-2  and

  3. Class-1.  The  software you use has to match the type of  fax-modem.  Class
  4.  
  5. refers  to  the way the Software talks to the modem, not the  kind  of  fax
  6.  
  7. machine.  HCS and MXS are send-only. AFC/AFX & Pkt are Class-1.  All  other
  8.  
  9. Zoom  Faxmodems are Class-2. You can try Class-1 with Zoom V-series  modems
  10.  
  11. too.

  13.      No Zoom FaxModem is CAS compatible without a proper class CAS driver.
